this is what I'm reading now. and trying to understand, not just membabi buta-ing hafal the whole sentence. (upsss..sorry for the word choice)
OK. it's basically how Government melibatkan diri dalam market.
no. 1 ! They use price controls. Menatang apakah? Translate buta-buta pun paham.
its "KAWAL HARGA". So, governments letak minimum and maximum price.
I'm going to babble about minimum price 1st.
So CLEAR UP YOUR(MY) MIND! (this is not healthy..im talking to myself again)
OK minimum price ni adalah "the lowest price permitted by law or authority". Meaning, actually minimum price ni adalah tinggi. Selalu konpiuskan student. Ish! Harga yg paling rendah producers boleh JUAL.
Terang lagi nyata, minimum price ni menyusahkan kita! SO,, UNFAIR TO CONSUMERS.
Mahai oi, rugi la kita. It's also called price floor. lantai lantai lantai~
Reasons pasepa government letak minimum price :
SATU . nak protect income farmers/producers. =.=
DUA . nak create surplus untuk future use. so that kalau ada shortage ada lagi stok yg available.
TIGA . prevent workers income from falling. ha elok..protect gaji depa.kita bayaq mahai.
Tiga-tiga ni adalah advantage. Not ours..but the producers and sellers.
And the DISADVANTAGES!Yeay. Ha ni kita,, --> pengguna.
SATU . unfair to consumers sebab we have to pay more than what we have paid before.
DUA . unfair to taxpayers sebab kerajaan guna hasil cukai (tax revenue) untuk beli surplus good tu bila shortage berlaku. SEKIAN terbalik terbalik jadi KESIAN.
TIGA . wastage of money & resources. goods ni tak boleh simpan lama sebab they are easily perishable. So government will have to destroy the goods. THIS IS CLEAR WASTAGE OF MONEY AND RESOURCES. ataupun depa akan export barang2 tu dengan harga yang murah. ha yang ni unfair untuk domestic consumers.
OK now for Maximum Price! or price ceiling. siling siling siling~
it is the "highest price that a seller can charge". Government set max price sebab nak elakkan market price sesuatu barang tu meningkat. Better definition, "preventing the market price of a good from increasing above a certain level". Usually during inflation.
Disadvantages :
Unfair kepada producers. Quantity of sold items decrease because they are forced to sell at a higher price. Barang mahal, tak ramai orang akan beli.
Producers will exploit consumers. the rise of BLACK MARKET. jejeng~ it's where the goods are sold at a price higher than the fixed maximum price since there are excess demand.
Advantages adalah lebih kepada consumers. Harga murah, hati gembira. And they have more choices to pick from.

it's only that the version i 1st heard was not a guy one. a woman..Edith Piaf, maybe?dont remember. basically this song is a request..to someone..the title itself speaks, "Ne Me Quite Pas" ..which means "If You Go Away". Although i originally think it suits "When You Go Away" better. If and When differs ya know~

and listen to BEAST's new song! Beautiful is my fave. I was never a fangirl of BEAST but i appreciate their new album. nice improvements!~~
actually i dont really like em in the 1st place because they look like teenage-boys-not-taking-music-seriously . really, they give off that vibe on me! i have strong taste of music~ :P so im taking my time to actually accept them bit by bit.
SNSD is a different cause because i actually love THEM, the 9 girls themselves. and the songs of course. their voices are lovely to listen to. ^__^
